DESCRIPTION:\nMay 7-May 23 | Reception: Saturday, May 9 from 1-2:30pm\n\n\n\nSCENE Metrospace | 110 Charles St. East Lansing, MI\n\n\n\nThe East Lansing Public Schools Exhibition which features over 200 artworks created by kindergraten through middle school students attending school in the City of East Lansing. In this exhibit, you will see painting, printmaking, drawing, collage, ceramics, sculpture, and weaving representing some of the diverse creative mediums being explored by students in the City of East Lansing. \n\n\n\nThe schools represented include: Robert L. Green Elementary (Art Teacher: Eileen Sturm), Marble Elementary  (Art Teacher: Layla Lesnau), Whitehills Elementary (Art Teacher: Sarah Ruttman), Conley Elementary (Art Teacher: Amy Miros), Glencairn Elementary (Art Teacher: Jaime Valente), Red Cedar Elemenarty (Art Teacher: Matthew Himmelspach), and MacDonald Middle School (Art Teacher: Chadwick Noellert). \n\n\n\nSpecial thanks to East Lansing Education Foundation for providing funds for new mats for the artwork. This exhibition is supported by the MSU Department of Art, Art History, and Design and the College of Arts and Letters. \n\n\n\nThe gallery is open Thursday-Sunday from 12-5pm\n\n\n\n\n
