Directed by Jonas Poher Rasmussen, Flee is an award-winning animated docu-drama about a young Afghan refugee in Denmark. Revealing what he had long concealed, Amin tells his story to the filmmaker, recalling the tragic circumstances that caused his families flight from their home in Kabul to Europe in the 1990s. The film uses animation and documentary footage of Afghanistan to explore global politics and sexual becoming.
