The Ornament of the World: How Muslims, Jews, and Christians Created a Culture of Tolerance in Medieval Spain

Join us in person at the MSU Main Library for a scholar-led book discussion of The Ornament of the World: How Muslims, Jews, and Christians Created a Culture of Tolerance in Medieval Spain, written by María Rosa Menocal. MSU History professor David Wheat will give a short lecture, followed by facilitated small group discussions led by graduate students.

Reading the book before the event is encouraged but notrequired. The book Ornament of the World is widely available via Melcat free interlibrary loan.

Free and open to the public! Light refreshments will be provided.
