Informal ChatGPT Workshop

Friday, April 14, Wells B342, 3-4:30ish
Substantial refreshments served

Please join us for an informal session on issues related to ChatGPT (for any purpose).  Bring your laptop and be ready to play around with ChatGPT.  We will have participants who are using it for different purposes including research, teaching, and writing code. If you have ideas for using ChatGPT, questions, or want to learn more, please join us. If you haven’t registered for a free account, please do so. Our tentative list of topics include, but are not limited to, the following.  Email Charlene if you would like to talk for a few minutes on any related topic.  If you know a lot or nothing about ChatGPT, we’d love to see you there.

  • ChatGPT for analyzing student writing and other research: Charlene Polio and Adam Pfau
  • ChatGPT for teaching: Fred Poole
  • Issues related to assessment: Dylan Burton
  • ChatGPT for R code: Hyunbin Hwang
  • Ethical issues related to ChatGPT and publishing: Charlene Polio
