Giuliana Musso in Conversation with MSU Experts: “Certain Things Cannot Be Said” Roundtable Discussion
Award-winning Italian author and actor Giuliana Musso’s Dentro (Inside): A True Story, If You Think So confronts the social effects of taboo in contexts of domestic and sexual abuse. This roundtable panel discussion precedes the Dentro (Inside) performance March 20 at the Wharton Center.
During the discussion, Giuliana Musso will interview four MSU professors who will offer their perspectives on domestic and sexual abuse from across the diverse fields of psychology, law, human medicine, and theater studies.
MSU panelists include:
- Jennifer E. Johnson, Ph.D., College of Human Medicine
- Alytia Levendosky, Ph.D., College of Social Science
- Barbara O’Brien, JD, Ph.D., College of Law
- Ann Folino White, Ph.D., College of Arts & Letters
Musso will also demonstrate her own research methods as an artist while inviting us to reflect on insights from the discussion together as a community.
