The Applied Linguistics faculty and programs (FLT, TESOL & SLS) invite you to watch the MSU homecoming parade on Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, starting at 5:15 PM. We will be in the Grand River Avenue median in front of Insomnia Cookies. Friends and families welcome! Pizza, desserts, and drinks will be provided. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on while watching the parade, which starts at 6 PM. Children should bring a bag to collect candy & swag given out by parade members. RSVP here, which will help us know how much food/dessert/drink to provide. As long as the parade is on, the party is on! (Cancelation due to inclement weather would be announced by the parade organizers.) Additional parade and parking information is available here: https://alumni.msu.edu/connect/homecoming/homecoming-parade
