Standing Together is a grassroots movement uniting Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel for peace, equality, and social and climate justice. Despite efforts to divide us, we, the majority, share common goals. The future that we want — peace and independence for Israelis and Palestinians, full equality for all citizens, and true social, economic, and environmental justice—is possible. Because where there is struggle, there is hope. 

Itamar Avneri, a social activist and Standing Together leader, is also part of the Israeli Climate Forum and is pursuing a Ph.D. in History of Science at Bar Ilan University.

Rula Daood, the National Co-Director of Standing Together, is a Palestinian citizen of Israel from Kafr Yasif. She began her activism in her home city and later became involved in promoting Jewish-Arab partnership in mixed (Jewish-Arab) cities, organizing events and protests that drew hundreds of activists.
