
Building Bridges and Catalyzing Change
Dr. Koen Van Gorp (Applied Linguistics Program, LiLaC) and Dr. Matt Coss (University of Alabama and SLS alumnus) will host a small international conference, Building Bridges and Catalyzing Change: Establishing a Collaborative Research-Practice Network to Enhance Task-Based Language Teaching in North America, on December 15–16 in Wells Hall B135 and B129, funded by the prestigious NFMLTA/MLJ Roundtable Grant and co-sponsored by CAL and the Applied Linguistics Program. The event will bring together twenty researchers, practitioners, and teacher educators from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to launch a collaborative network focused on advancing task-based language teaching.
