Designing Your Career Plan | CSN Exploration Series

Sometimes choosing a major (let alone a career path) can feel overwhelming. There are a lot of options to choose from and a lot of potential opportunities. This workshop is designed to help you identify your own personal strengths, values, and interests and use those to explore careers that might be a good fit for you. Through reflection and personal activities you will also learn how to “test out” different careers and develop an action plan to move forward if you are feeling stuck.

This workshop is designed to help students:
– Apply the core stages of design thinking to career exploration
– Identify personal strengths, values, and interests to generate meaningful career options
– Plan “career prototypes” through low-risk experiments such as informational interviews or shadowing
– Learn how to build an action-oriented mindset that supports continuous growth and adaptation
