Film in Britain study abroad information session

Film in Britain offers students the opportunity to study film history and film production in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities, London. This 4-week program, led by Professors Pedro Doreste-Rodriguez and Pete Johnston, will combine the academic study of film, film production, and exposure to London as a cinematic city. The production component will allow students to study experimental and documentary film techniques.  Filming will take place in some of the most cinematically attractive locations in London, incorporating famous landmarks like the London Eye, Brighton Beach Pier, the Hill Garden and Pergola, and more. In the studies component, students will screen films at the British Film Institute and all over London cinemas, with classroom visits from world famous filmmakers and theorists.
