Earlier this week, Interim Provost Jeitschko announced that the MSU College of Arts & Letters Dean Search is underway. The search committee met on October 18, 2024, with Interim Provost Jeitschko to receive the search charge and for the Provost to share his thoughts on the key qualifications, experiences, and characteristics of the next dean.

MSU has secured the executive search firm, Russell Reynolds Associates, to assist with the search. A virtual listening session to discuss the search process, leadership qualities, as well as the opportunities and challenges for the next dean will be held on the following date:
