Please join us for an introduction to The Serling Institute for Jewish Studies and Modern Israel Guide on Antisemitism for the MSU Community. The guide was written by faculty, staff, and students of the Serling Institute for Jewish Studies and Modern Israel in order to assist the MSU community to better recognize antisemitism when it emerges on campus and to understand its impacts.  There will be a short presentation by Professors Yael Aronoff, Kirsten Fermaglich, and Amy Simon, followed by questions and discussion. Printed copies of the guide will be available for all attendees.

Dr. Yael Aronoff -Director of the Serling Institute for Jewish Studies. and Modern Israel, Serling Chair in Israel Studies and Professor of International Relations at James Madison College

Ariana Mentzel– Assistant to the Director of the Serling Institute.
MA in Government, Diplomacy & Strategy, with a specialization in Conflict Studies, IDC Herzliya. 
BA in International Relations, James Madison College of MSU, minor in Jewish Studies and Muslim Studies. 

Dr. Kirsten Fermaglich– Professor of History and Jewish Studies.

Dr. Amy Simon– William and Audrey Farber Family Chair in Holocaust Studies and European Jewish History, Assistant Professor in James Madison College, History, and the Serling Institute.
