Join us as we discuss the elements of thriving in an internship. Two alumni will be discussing their experiences; one as a student who sought and obtained an internship while facing considerable academic and life challenges and as a MSU employee who supervised students. Learn about how they navigated the internship experience. You will also learn about reviewing job descriptions for duties, understanding goals and expectations, questions to ask a supervisor and your new team, understand performance reviews, and what happens after an internship. Learn these valuable tips to thrive in your internship. We are inviting two alumni to join to speak of his own experience and answer any questions. Plus you will have a chance to engage and network with these alumni.

Neaha Patel struggled academically in college until she received guidance from her advisor and then began to do well academically. She later went on to work for Nicolas Babarskis while in college. Neaha will share her story of struggle and her journey to success, providing insights that helped her communicate her skills, gain experiences and ultimately leading to graduation and success in her roles post graduation. Nicolas Babarskis recruited and supervised many students on their internships at MSU, and will discuss what supervisors look for and how to prepare for an internships. This will be a session full of guidance, tips, insights and stories of their journeys. You do not need to have obtained an internship to attend, come to learn more.
