VISION FOR A SHARED FUTURE GROUND-LEVEL INSIGHTS FROM ISRAELI AND PALESTINIAN PEACEBUILDERS

Monday, April 7, 5:30-7:00 PM, JMC Library, 332 Case Hal, 842 Chestnut Rd

Please join us for a unique opportunity to engage with Ashraf al-Ajrami and Ayala Brilliant, a Palestinian and Israeli peacebuilder working to bridge divides in one of the world’s most complex regions. The discussion will focus on both the practical challenges and the opportunities of working toward peace within a polarized landscape, as well as the skills and mindsets necessary for peacebuilding and diplomacy.

Ashraf Al-Ajrami is the director of Damour for Community Development, working to enhance the resilience of underprivileged Palestinian communities through environmental protection, community support, and youth employment.

Ayala Brilliant is an Israeli community development specialist with extensive experience in cross-cultural dialogue and mediation. She currently works with kibbutzim along the Gaza border to build resilience and facilitate healing.
